She delivers autotuned vocals over an electic soundscape of electric guitar melodies, playful beats and brass, while the British vocalist brings their trademark falsetto tones to the table.
The follow-up to 2015’s ‘R.E.D.’ and the 2017 EP ‘Sugar Cane’ also boasts appearances by Naira Marley, Stefflon Don and Dice Ailes, Davido, and Hamzaa.
Smith, meanwhile, has racked up a couple of other collaborations so far this year. They duetted with Demi Lovato in April on I’m Ready and appeared on Burna Boy’s single Oasis, which came out in July.
Smith postponed and renamed their third album this spring. ‘To Die For’ will undergo a name change before arriving later this year, with the original release date of May 1 being pulled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
